INGRA Vacuum Technology®
Evolution of a revolutionary product
Our Company, with a rich history dating back to 1966, was founded around a revolutionary vacuum technology. We took a commercial vacuum system and enhanced it to industrial grade (IN-GRA). This proprietary technology is used to service all our commercial, industrial and residential customers, including those in food processing, senior housing, and automotive manufacturing. As Canada’s most prominent duct cleaning service, we have the advantage of conducting hundreds of tests daily, allowing us to improve and maintain optimal performance continuously. On average, our suction power is 50% to 150% stronger than a similar truck-mounted or portable duct cleaning system. Simply put, it’s like comparing the engine strength of your carpet vacuum – the more robust the engine, the better the results.
Our journey towards innovation began with a cleaning system housed in the back of a Hino truck. The system used the vehicle’s engine to power the vacuum and the air compressor. However, over time, the vehicle’s engine limited the vacuum system’s power, and the size of the Hino truck made it difficult to move in urban areas. In 2010, we transitioned to a self-contained vacuum system. We adopted truck-mount technology in the back of a cube van. The vacuum system used a side engine that powered the air compressor and the vacuum. This autonomous system was independent of the vehicle that carried it, marking a significant step in our unwavering commitment to innovation and efficiency.
.
Finally, in 2022, we came up with our latest version of the INGRA Vacum Technology. The new system was designed from scratch over five years of research and development and incorporated the following breakthrough:
- It is a twin-engine system, which means that the air compressor and the mobile vacuum unit operate on separate engines. They generate more power from their respective motors rather than sharing power from one side-engine.
- By enabling the vacuum to be brought into the home, we eliminate up to 125 feet of vacuum hoses that leak the suction power along the way.
- The new system runs on dual power, gas and electricity, a testament to our commitment to decreasing our carbon footprint and preserving the environment outside of your home. This is not just a technological advancement, but a reflection of our core values and dedication to sustainability.
- We continue to use the most robust components for industrial applications, all powered by Honda engines, ensuring the highest level of performance and reliability. Our dedication to using the best components and reliable engines is a testament to our commitment to superior performance and customer satisfaction.
- The new INGRA Vacuum Technology is housed in a Ford Transit van but is overall more powerful than our prior versions. Imagine a smartphone’s computing power, thousands of times faster than the original supercomputer. Like today’s smartphones, we are smaller, lighter, cleaner, and more powerful.
Talking Points
- A truck-mount uses one side-engine to power both the compressor and the vacuum, while our INGRA system has 2 engines, one for the compressor, one for the vacuum
- The truck’s side engine stays on the truck and uses up to 125 feet of hoses to connect to your home. Each section of hoses leak out suction power. Our mobile unit is hooked up directly into your furnace. If you compare the 2, our mobile unit has twice the suction power than a truck system because no leakage.
